PROCESS MANAGEMENT

Every company goes through processes of change which may concern the entire company or be relevant to just a few employees. Many of these changes have to do with diverging and sometimes conflicting interests. As process manager I analyze, design, supervise and evaluate such processes. I help to create support, to overcome resistance and to avoid deadlocks.

The successful implementation of change requires that there is someone who oversees and manages the entire process. All expectations have to be clear, the vision needs to be completely developed, and someone has to make certain that all new tasks have been made clear and are actually executed. In this process, it is important to me that all involved have a voice that is heard.

Example 1: Notary office

A notary office with ten employees introduces a totally new software package to handle all legal documents. To manage this transition I made an information analysis, held meetings with the software company, prepared the implementation, gave guidance to the staff during the introduction, organized an evaluation and guided the process of fine-tuning the software by the software makers.

Example 2: Clinic for mental health care

A national organization for mental healthcare for children with a psychic development disorder wanted to establish a day clinic in the south of the Netherlands. I worked as chair of the team of involved psychologists and psychiatrists that developed the vision and planning for this clinic prior to the opening.
