BOOKDESIGN
I myself am an avid reader, which is one of the reasons I like to work on books. Moreover, it allows me to combine my experience as teacher of computer skills at art school with my own training as a fine artist. Academic dissertations are a specialty. Because of their size and complexity, dissertations often require special care; e.g.:
- advice for handling voluminous text files, making an index, a multi-level table of contents, large illustration files et cetera
- graphic design
- advice on cover and illustration (artistic and technical)
- dealing with the printer
- editing, proofreading and translating (in collaboration with Sytze Steenstra)
